About the eAccessibility Checker

The eAccessibility Checker is part of the eGovMon project. The checker automatically detects barriers in Web documents (HTML and XHTML) following the methodology defined in the Unified Web Evaluation Methodology (UWEM). It is intended to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG1.0).

Problems and suggestions:

The eAccessibility Checker is still in the testing phase. This means there will be problems and bugs, both known and unknown.

Bug reports are imoprtant to allow us to improve the service. If you discover a bug or any other problem, please send us an e-mail to maintainer@egovmon.no. For efficient handling of bug reports please include:

• What is the problem. For example error message from checker.
• The address (URL) you want to evaluate. For example http://www.egovmon.no/
• The time and date when the problem occured.
• Web browser used (such as Internet Explorer 6.0, Firefox 2.0 or similar).
• Any other information necessary to regenerate the problem.
