About the eAccessibility Checker
The eAccessibility Checker is part of the eGovMon project. It offers three different services.
The page and site checker evaluate web accessibility. The page checker automatically detects barriers in Web documents (HTML and XHTML) following the methodology defined in the Unified Web Evaluation Methodology (UWEM). It is intended to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG1.0). The site checker evaluates the accessibility of a web site by selecting a random sample of pages. These pages are checked in the same way as in the page checker.
The PDF checker checks the accessibility of PDF documents.
Problems and suggestions:
The eAccessibility Checker is still in the testing phase. This means there will be problems and bugs, both known and unknown.
Bug reports are important to allow us to improve the service. If you discover a bug or any other problem, please send us your feedback.
